The dogwalk app uses your phones built-in GPS sensor to record your dog walking route.

Simply tap on the start button and you are ready to track your walk. Dog Walk takes care of the rest: It shows you the exact distance, duration of your walk and your current position on the map. With a single click of a button, you can add a pee or a poo. In case you have more than one dog, simply select the dog (or dogs) that made a poo or a pee.

Love this app. If you want to track just how many miles you can rack up with your dog, get it. Does exactly as advertised.

This is the perfect app for me. Im not going to lie, my dog is in desperate need for walks as she is a bit out of shape. So this is the perfect app for me and my pet so I can track her walks and help her become a healthier dog!

I use this app every day when I take my dog for our 2 mile walk! I love it!!

I love this app...I can track the most important aspects of our walk...makes me a better owner cause the facts dont lie and I can see how far/little weve gone in our walk :)

So simple to use. You can add to your tracker when they poo and pee. :). Gives you daily reminders. Its a great motivator. Theres no pause button but who cares. Its great for posting on social media.

I dont bother doing the poop/pee counter, I like how it tracks our distance and how long we walked. Nice to see the progress with my Labrador puppy.

Some bad moments

Theres a problem with the app, the route is recorded well, the shape of the walk in the neighborhood, but the distance is 0. Hope you can fix it because I like the app.

Simple, fast, clean interface. Supports multiple dogs/users. Records a gps route of your walk, allows you to mark pee/poop on the map as well as take photos that are saved with the route. If youre looking for a great way to track your dog waking, or anything else, this app is great. I use it to time trips to the grocery, measure how fast different routes are, keep an average of how long it takes to get home, etc

I have used a couple other dog walk apps, most notably the Map My Dog Walk app which does offer a deeper analysis of your walks and voice prompts. However, after repeated crashing and sync failures as well as mapping failures, I decided to look around again. Im so glad I did because I found the Tractive Dog Walk App. If you absolutely dont care about calories and pace, then this App makes the others pale in comparison. It is a much simpler App with a really sleek look, a very easy to use interface, and actually maps your walks whether youre in town, rural areas or even out in the wilderness. The maps are very accurate (I base this on fact I live in extreme rural area & am an avid hiker who finds most mapping apps have failed miserably way out here). The App allows you to input profile pics of your pets and their personal info. You can also put a pic of yourself in. The App allows you to mark urination and defecation stops for your pets. Ran out of doggie feces bags? No prob! Go home, grab a bag and follow your map back to pick up after your pet:-). The map shows an icon where your dog eliminated. Your walking history is saved and you can go back and view your walks. The App allows you to share your walk with whoever you wish via email, SMS or social media if youre so inclined. In summary, if you need to know your calorie burn or pace, this App does lack that info. However if you want an app that records your dog walks quickly, seamlessly, accurately and with a very nice simple interface then this App will do it all. It has not froze on me like its competitors Apps even with multiple Apps running and calls/text interruptions occurring. This is huge because you dont lose your walk data, which after all, is why you use the App in the first place! Take it from me, repeated freezes will make you quit using an App faster than anything and frustrate you into thinking of quitting using any App even if you have the desire to map your walks. Get this App and be happy walking your dog. Itll help you be more interactive in your dog care and help keep Fido trimmed down, fighting obesity, improving cardio, and too many other benefits to list. Oh, and itll also help keep you bonded and cement you as pack leader!:-)

As a dog walker and dog sitter this app is super handy because I get to share the exercise the dog has received for the day with the owner. Also get track my walk with my own dogs. Just a fun app all around!

Amazing app. Glad its free and there are no in-app purchases. This app is truly great!

As a dog trainer I walk a lot of dogs and sometimes I forget which route I take or how long it is and dogs for boarding Im able to track their walks over a specific period of time never really had a problem with it is really fantastic I wish the developers would make a potty tracking app if they did that I would be hooked. I recommend this app to all my clients and all my friends
